2 55cancri e

2. 55Cancri e

The planet 55 cancri e is the girls best friend because 55 cacnri e is actually just a diamond out in space orbiting a star. When 55 cancri e was formed it was comprised completely of carbon, thanks to its intense pressure and heat through its parent star. 55 cancri e compressed into a massive unpolished diamond this planet is so huge that it is valued incomprehensible $26.9 nonillion which is only about 3840,000,000,000,000,000x quintillion times the earth's GDP, but   Before you set out for this diamond planet with a drill. 55 cancri e is located over 40 light years away from earth and if you were somehow able to bring all the diamonds back with you the sheer amount diamond you would collect from the planet will crash the earths diamond market instantly making your diamonds completely worthless.
55 Cancri e also named Janssen, is an exoplanet closely orbiting its Sun-like host star55 cancri A. The mass of the exoplanet is about 8.63 Earth masses and its diameter is about twice that of the Earth, thus classifying it as the first super earth discovered around a main sequence star, predating Gliese 876 b by a year. It takes fewer than 18 hours to complete an orbit and is the innermost known planet in its planetary system. 55 Cancri e was discovered on 30 August 2004. However, until the 2010 observations and recalculations, this planet had been thought to take about 2.8 days to orbit the star. In October 2012, it was announced that 55 Cancri e could be a carbon planet.

In July 2014 international astronomical union launched a process for giving proper names to certain exoplanets and their host stars. The process involved public nomination and voting for the new names. In December 2015, the IAU announced the winning name was Janssen for this planet. The winning name was submitted by the Royal Netherlands Association for Meteorology and Astronomy of the Netherlands It honors the spectacle maker and telescope pioneer Zacharias Janssen.

In February 2016, it was announced that NASA's Hubble space telescope had detected hydrogen and helium (and suggestions of hydrogen cyanide), but no water vapor, in the atmosphere of 55 Cancri e, the first time the atmosphere of a super earth exoplanet was analyzed successfully.

Top 10 strangest planets in the universe.

It all started with a Big Bang
It was a starting point of our universe, this is how our universe took place but "big bang" is just a theory. It's not 100% true. We all know that the universe is made out of "Black matter" and is constantly increasing. How big is the universe? Well the answer to this question is unpredictable to a certain limit.

Everything that exist makes up the universe, from the smallest particles to the bi
ggest structures. It includes everything that is known and more that is unknown. Over time, humans have had different ideas of what the universe is and how it works, how it started and what its future is. Today, scientists know more than ever before, but there is much still to be learnt.

So here are the top 10 strangest planets in the universe.

1. Tres 2b

Tres 2b or Kepler 1b is the "most" darkest planet in the universe.
It is an extrasolar planet orbiting the star GSC 0354902811 located 750 light years away from the solar system. The planet has been identified in 2011 as the darkest known exoplanet, reflecting less than 1% of any light that hits it. The planet's mass and radius indicate that it is a gas giant with a bulk composition similar to that of Jupiter. Unlike Jupiter, but similar to many planets detected around other stars, tres-2b is located very close to its star, and belongs to the class of planets known hot jupiters. This system was a within the field of view of the Kepler spacecraft.

This planet continues to be studied by other projects and the parameters are being improved continuously. A 2007 study improved stellar and planetary parameters. A 2008 study concluded that the TrES-2 system is a binary star system This has a significant effect on the values for the stellar and the planetary parameters.

The above picture is the size comparison of tres-2b with jupiter.
